1970-1996 Studio potter, Lomma, Sweden 

 

BIOGRAPHY 

Gunnar Nylund is best known for designing functional stoneware as artistic director at the Swedish ceramics manufacturing company, Rörstrand Ceramics. His work became hallmarks of Scandinavian mid-century design.  

Nylund designed and completed many site specific public art installations as well, and also designed objects in glass.
