BIOGRAPHY 

Ursulita Naranjo is known for black-on-black burnished pottery made in Santa Clara Pueblo style. Naranjo lived and worked as a potter at the Santa Clara Pueblo in New Mexico her entire life.  

Ursulita Naranjo is the mother of another famed Santa Clara potter, Dolores Curran, who learned how to make traditional pottery from her mother.
