BIOGRAPHY

Brian Van Nostrand is known for wheel-thrown stoneware functional wares including mugs, vases, covered jars, and jugs. The surface techniques often include  heavy carving and incising. 

Van Norstrand sometimes uses clay he digs near his studio. Van Notstrand wood fired most of his work and has built 3 wood kilns.
