PRIMARY WORK EXPERIENCE

1979—Co-potter, Romulus Clay Studio, Oakland, California

 

Ikuzi Teraki and Jeanne Bisson founded Romulus Craft Studio in 1979 in Oakland, California. In 1986 they moved the studio to Washington, Vermont where they produce utilitarian wheel-thrown, pinched and hand-built porcelain tableware, and decorative art. Teraki makes all the wheel-thrown work using his own porcelain recipe as well as all trimming and carving. Bisson makes hand-built, pinched, and slab-built work.[1]
