BIOGRAPHY

Mike Taylor is best known for functional wheel-thrown and hand built stoneware pieces decorated with colorful slip and glaze. Forms include baskets, covered jars, tea bowls, vases, and teapots. He fires in an eighty cubic foot catenary wood kiln. 

Taylor cites as influences traditional Japanese pottery and geology.
