Hal Silverman makes one of a kind hand built free-form functional sculptural work predominantly of stoneware.  His forms also include lamps, some lit by oil-wicks others by candles; hand-built planters for small cacti, and moribanas for Japanese ikebana. 

Self-taught, Silverman is also known for Judaica and has been recognized for this body of work.
