BIOGRAPHY

Brian Persha is known for creating wheel-thrown functional and decorative pottery using a clay body blend of stoneware and porcelain. Persha high-fires work in a reduction atmosphere in a gas kiln. Surface techniques include a variety of earth-toned, cream, blue glazes, and a pre-firing over-glaze brush applied abstract oxide design.

In addition to works in clay, Persha creates figurative bronze sculptures.
