Dan Olstad is known for creating hand built vessels using neriage, a technique that involves marbling and folding multiple layers of colored porcelain. He studied with Bob Sperry at the University of Washington, Laura Andreson and Adrian Saxe at University of California, Los Angeles and John Agars at Central Washington University.
