BIOGRAPHY

Annette McCormick is known for wheel-thrown vessels combined with animal sculptures, as well as abstracted hand-built animal-vessel combinations. Animal adornments include elephants and rams as jar lids, finials, and cat head vases.

McCormick was deeply influenced by a trip to East Africa in 1972. 

Annette McCormick at times collaborated with potter Tim Mather producing animal sculptures for Mather’s vessels.
