BIOGRAPHY
Jeffrey Lipton makes a wide range of functional pots that often reference historic New England pots. He adds images drawn from the farming life he remembers growing up in a back to the land family, these images are drawn directly using glaze. He has also developed a number of images of fantasy animals that are drawn on the pieces and then finished using liquid latex resist before glaze is applied. All of his work is fired in a salt atmosphere and when possible in a wood fired kiln.
