BIOGRAPHY
Sheri Leigh is known for hand-built trompe l'oeil ceramic sculpture. Food, animals, and factory made objects are replicated in clay to form Leigh's compositions. Objects are often stripped of their original purpose and re-contextualized. She studied with Betty Woodman and Anne Currier at the University of Colorado and with Paul Soldner and David Furman at Claremont Graduate University.
