BIOGRAPHY:

Peter Leach is known for functional stoneware pottery; he studied with Warren MacKenzie 

Peter Leach was an important figure in the Midwest ceramic community for over 40 years. In 1972, Leach founded the Sogn Valley Art Fair near Cannon Falls, Minnesota; the 50th year of this Art Fair was in 2022.  In 1990, Leach was a founding member of the Northern Clay Center, now in Minneapolis, Minnesota, an important studio and gallery for the ceramic community in the upper Midwest.
