BIOGRAPHY

John Hull works in series that can range from 20 to 60 pieces. Each series focuses on a similar form that is wheel thrown using porcelain. The pieces are then burnished using lamb’s wool before being coated with terra sigillata and fired once to 1900 degrees. They are then saggar fired or placed in a pit firing resulting in the random flashing seen on the finished pieces.
