BIOGRAPHY 

Vicki Heller is known for hand-built figurative stoneware sculpture, with emphasis on the human body. Surface techniques include the use of wax and underglazes to create and enhance the surfaces. 

Heller’s previous career as an ob/gyn physician informs her work: “My patient now is a mass of clay, and the births are of sculpture.”1
