BIOGRAPHY
Amy Halko is known for wheel-thrown porcelain dinnerware. Decorative techniques include overall but sparse, graphic design using black line drawing with stylized leaves as a central element. Designs are often referencing mid-century tableware and textile graphics. The transparent clear glaze allows the porcelain ground to anchor design elements. Halko's color application is limited, often featuring yellows, blues, and greens.
