BIOGRAPHY

Philip Cornelius is known for slab-built porcelain vessels. He perfected a way to produce very thin slabs that push the boundaries of porcelain’s strength. He called these pieces thinware.

Cornelius studied with Paul Soldner at Claremont Graduate University.
