Katherine Bernstein

Biography to Display: 

APPRENTICESHIPS AND RESIDENCIES

Penland School of Crafts, Penland, North Carolina

 

Katherine Bernstein’s early work was hand built porcelain figures. In the mid-1970s Harvey Littleton became aware of Bernstein’s ceramic work and cast it in glass. At that point Bernstein began to work exclusively in glass.
