Dennis Bern and his wife, Wendy Elwell, operated BernWell Pottery Studio and Gallery that featured distinctive works of the husband and wife potters,. Bern is an accomplished steel fabricator, welder, and wood worker. Elwell works on lamps with sculpted surface decorations and functional pottery. They use the combination of soft stoneware clays, wood ash glazes, and gas reduction firing to achieve quality.
