A variety of representational and patterned tiles were produced, namely through Batchelder's tile company in Pasadena,California. Later, Batchelder produced slipcast utilitarian vessels in a range of bright colors. Batchelder was an early pioneer of the Arts and Crafts Movement in California in first half of the 20thCentury.
