Anat Shiftan extensively used unglazed white stoneware or porcelain to create her sculptures. Beginning in 2012-2013 she began to add color to the pieces. This has taken the form of an overall color or multiple colors on one piece. At about this same time gold luster began to appear on her work.

Anat Shiftan's inspiration is drawn from her observations of the ever changing natural world. She explores traditional still life in three dimensions with clay.
