Kathy Veverka

PRIMARY WORK EXPERIENCE

1976 Founded Spring Flower Pottery

Kathy Veverka uses wheel thrown and slab building techniques to make functional stoneware objects incorporating surface techniques of incising and carving. Often Veverka adds sculpted flowers to her surfaces before bisque firing.  All pieces are then glazed and fired in a gas kiln to 2300 degrees Fahrenheit.
