PRIMARY WORK EXPERIENCE

2004Founded Bella Vista Tile, Brasstown, North Carolina

 

Lisa Tevia-Clark and James Clark began as vessel makers. They are now (2018) best known for press-molded bas-relief mosaic murals and tiles which are glazed and high fired. In 2006 Tevia-Clark began to create mixed media mosaics using tiles combined with semi-precious gemstone, common stone, and cultured pearls.

In addition to being a tile maker, Tevia-Clark is the artistic director of Bella Vista Tile, responsible for tile and mosaic design and glaze development. Clark is responsible for tile production and mosaic fabrication as well as being the office manager, print and website designer. [1]
