BIOGRAPHY

 Kirk Jackson is known for wheel-thrown and altered porcelain functional pottery. Surface techniques include mottled glazed surfaces achieved by mixing silica sand into the clay body before wheel-throwing. Jackson's work is fired in a gas kiln with the addition of baking soda and soda ash.
