BIOGRAPHY 

Julie Hagood is known for wheel-thrown and altered functional and decorative stoneware pottery. She fires in an electric kiln and uses Raku firing processes. Her surface decoration ranges from textured ‘chatter’ marks, tape resist glaze methods that create geometric designs on the surface, horse hair application during the Raku process, and a variety of glazes.
