BIOGRAPHY

 Gary Clontz is known for wheel-thrown functional stoneware pottery and raku fired vessels. In addition to being a potter, Clontz developed the Production Fine Craft Program at Haywood Community College and the Professional Clay Program at Piedmont Technical School. Clontz is also known as a kiln builder and has built or planned numerous kilns in the southeastern United States.
