BIOGRAPHY

Molly Cantor makes production art pottery and animal sculptures in porcelain. She has also produced Judaica, and mosaic-tiled rustic furniture. Types of firing  include oxidation with electricity, and reduction with gas or wood as fuel. Molly’s signature decoration is a black and white carving, with wood-cut references in the technique.

Her inspirations are from human and natural relationships, stories, poems, and nature. Aesthetic influences include printmaking, early American quilts, plants, insects, animals and New England life.
