BIOGRAPHY
Jeremy Ayers is known for thrown, utilitarian pottery made of brown stoneware. He combines glazed and unglazed surfaces on the clay forms to create geometric patterns. His production includes bowls, cake plates, cups and saucers, covered jars, cream and sugar sets, mugs, teapots, plates, salt boxes and vases. Ayers’ work is fired in oxidation at a mid-range temperature.
