BIOGRAPHY

 

James Aarons makes both functional and sculptural work. His brightly colored works exhibit many gestural qualities and linear forms inspired by his years in dance. 

Aarons started his artistic career primarily as a professional modern dancer. He worked in clay throughout his dance career and continued to develop his forms and aesthetic.
