BIOGRAPHY
Nancy Selvin is best known for still-lives composed of thrown and altered earthenware vessel forms.The vessels are often arranged on shelves or attached to wall plaques.Bottle forms predominate.She also makes a wide range of stand alone pieces.Surfaces are finished with slips and text transferred to the surface is often an element of the pieces.
