BIOGRAPHY 

Michael Lopez is  primarily known for non-functional ceramics that combine wheel-thrown and hand building techniques. Lopez worked with stoneware, lusters, and raku firing. Many of his pieces have an unglazed matt surface.

 Lopez studied with Vernon Coykendal and Viola Frey.
